In March 2009, Worth1000 challenged digital artists to incorporate an animal into classical artwork in an amusing, interesting or creative way. This Animal Renaissance contest drew 32 creations, four of which were Remastered Boiuguereaus. None of them won prizes, but Peanuts and Lizard, both by aards2, ended up halfway the scoreboard.
