What you see here is a very clever photoshop manipulation. It was created by American digital artist Glockman for a contest on PXLEyes.com in November 2009. Participants were challenged to photoshop a picture of a red flower (see below). The artist used Bouguereau’s 1884 work La Tricoteuse (The Little Knitter) as the basis, and turned the flower into a beautiful dress. His Bouguereau Reborn won the third prize in the contest.
